Voluntary Norfolk improves the health, wellbeing, connections, skills and employability of thousands of people in Norfolk each year, by supporting volunteers, voluntary organisations and through the delivery of commissioned services.
- We encourage and enable people to use their time, skills and talents to volunteer and to find meaningful and enjoyable volunteering roles, for their own benefit and for the benefit of their local community.
- We provide support, training, information and networking opportunities for hundreds of community groups, charities and social enterprises and have a specialist support service, Momentum, for groups working with children and young people.
- We work in partnership with organisations in the voluntary, public and health sectors to deliver health and wellbeing services, including Carers Matter Norfolk, Parent Carers Matter, Young Carers Matter and Better Together.
- We lead innovative and dynamic community building initiatives like Freshly Greated which bring people together in some of the more deprived parts of Great Yarmouth and Gorleston
Through our work we hope to achieve our vision of connected, resilient and compassionate communities where people work together to improve lives.
